Checked system. The burner turns on and heats the furnace but the fan does not start. The relay is pulled in but does not start. The fan is a variable speed motor. Plugged a test kit into the motor to check the speeds in either heat or cool but the motor did not start. The motor is bad and needs to be replaced. Need to contact the supplier.

Upon arrival unit was off. Turned on and condenser turned on but air handler did not. Upon inspection found that the capacitor for the indoor blower was open internally and was not supplying the blower with power to start. After getting customer authorization we replaced the capacitor for the indoor blower and tightened the terminals on the thermostat housing. Started unit and checked refrigerant levels. Unit is operating properly and had a 19° temp difference.
