Andrew was responsive, knowledgeable and respectful. He got the job done and his repairs look great. I give him 5 stars. My issue is that the cost seemed out of line with the work performed. With only minimal parts replaced, the job took just under 3.5 hrs. The price of $800 seems to indicate a labor rate of around $200/hr. I have not had much plumbing done over the past several yrs but that seems high. I will continue to use Xtreme but would like to see your invoicing break out parts and labor. Again the service was outstanding and the leaks have been repaired. Thank you
Friendly, prompt service

Larry Halpin and has been to my home now a number of times for furnace maintenance and diagnosis of problems over the years. He is always exceptionally polite, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, explains the problem in easy to understand terms and gets the job completed in a very reasonable amount of time. He leaves the place neater, cleaner and tidier than he found it. I’m always happy to see that it’s Larry when I have called for furnace issues. Incredible Oil referred Extreme Temp to me and I am very grateful to them. They are also a wonderful firm.

Visually inspected indoor evap coil and blower compartment Checked all electrical connections and safeties Checked volts and amps Visually inspected air filter Rinsed condenser coil Blew out drain line and poured water to ensure properly draining Tested condensate pump Checked refrigerant levels Checked capacitor Took temps While performing the maintenance we found that system was slightly low on refrigerant. After getting customer approval we added 14 oz R410A to the system bringing the subcooling up from 3 to 11 which is within manufacturers specifications.

Upon arrival unit was off. Had customer turn the unit on and checked the pressures. Pressures were 9/93 which is very low for a R22 system. Advised against adding any refrigerant to the system due to how low the pressure is and the age of the system. Took pictures for a replacement quote.

Performed an A/C pm on (2) systems. Replaced the air filters. Blew out the drain lines and tested the condensate pump. Rinsed the condenser coil. Checked the electrical connections, pressures and temperatures. Opened up the electrical compartment on the 1st fl system and it was full from a mouse nest. Cleaned out the nest and found the capacitor and contractor bad. There is a standing pressure on the system but unsure of the correct charge without replacing the components. Talked to the homeowner and they would like to get a price on replacing the system. The 2nd floor system is operating properly.

Upon arrival unit was on but not running. Turned thermostat up and the boiler kicked on and was slightly rumbling. Checked oil flow and had good clean flow. Took the nozzle out and found bits of sludge on the strainer side of the nozzle. Cleaned out the nozzle assembly and replaced the nozzle. Started and tested the system. Unit is running at 6.5%o2 50ppm 0 smoke. While performing the combustion test the ppm was still falling from burning excess oil off inside the chamber.
