Isolated the boiler and drain some water out. Removed the defective part and installed a new Low Water Cutoff Control. Filled the system, opened the valves. Started and tested the control. System is operating properly.
Larry H.
When arrived, the burner started properly. The customer mentioned that they just received an oil delivery several days ago and that’s when it went off on reset. Checked the oil filter at the tank. The filter was dirty. Replaced the oil filter. Removed the nozzle assembly and the nozzle had a black spot on the tip which can cause it not to fire correctly. Replaced the nozzle and started. System is operating properly.
Andrew H.
Installed Trane XR14 3 ton condenser and TEM6 3 ton Trane variable speed air handler. Installed supply registers, return registers, R8 wrapped metal ductwork, R8 flex, and a 1 inch filter and filter rack. Installed drain pan, float switch, drain line, lineset and thermostat wire. Had ductwork pressure tested and sealed with AeroSeal. Performed pressure test on the lineset and pulled a vacuum on it. Released the factory charge from the unit. Need to return in the spring to start and test the unit and add any additional refrigerant as needed.
Larry H.
Valved water heater. Removed and replaced the drain valve. Filled and checked for leaks.
Andrew H.
Performed pm on oil boiler Brushed and vacuumed flue pipe and heat exchanger Replaced oil filter, nozzle, and strainer Checked all electrical connections and safeties Performed combustion and smoke tests 8.9%o2 1ppm co 0 smoke

Water was coming from the drain on the indirect water heater. Tightened the handle a little more and the leak stopped. Installed a drain cap on the valve.

Furnace was off due to the flue rollout switch was tripped. Replaced the rollout switch. Started and tested. If the problem happens again, recommend replacing the inducer motor due to the high amps that it is drawing while running.
Andrew H.
Performed pm on oil boiler Brushed and vacuumed flue pipe and heat exchanger Replaced oil filter, nozzle, and strainer Checked all electrical connections and safeties Performed combustion and smoke tests 7.7%o2 0ppm co 0 smoke
Larry H.
The furnace was off on a roll out error code. Found the exhaust roll out tripped. Reset and the furnace started. Checked the temp at the switch, 129*f, the switch is rated for 215*f. The inducer motor is drawing 1.9 amps and rated for 1.8 amps. Performed a combustion test. Recommend replacing the rollout switch due to possibly tripping at a lower temperature and recommend replacing the inducer motor due to the higher amps which can cause the motor to overheat and slow down and possibly cause the roll out to trip.
Larry H.
Performed a heating pm on an oil boiler. Brushed and vacuumed. Replaced the oil filter, nozzle and strainer. Started and checked the safeties. Performed a combustion test. 8.5% o2, 30 ppm, 0 smoke, 82.3% efficient System is operating properly. There is a couple of sections of flue pipe that are getting soft (easy to squeeze), recommend replacing them in the future. Also there was dryer lint around the boiler, recommend checking the dryer connections. There is corrosion around the bolts of the domestic water coil from a previous leak. Recommend replacing the coil gasket.

Turned the system on, there was an error code of roll out open. Found the limit on the exhaust tripped. Reset and the inducer turned on and fired properly. Cycled several times. High winds can push the exhaust down the flue and possibly trigger it after shut down.

24-hour Emergency Heating Repair: Responded to a late-night emergency call after the client reported that their boiler had stopped producing heat. Arrived on-site and established safe working conditions, then inspected the boiler system to identify the issue. Found a faulty ignition module preventing the burner from firing. Replaced the defective component, tested the boiler through multiple heating cycles, and verified proper operation of all safety controls. The emergency repair was successful, and the boiler is now fully operational, restoring heat during critical hours.
Jonathan L.
Ductwork Repairs: Arrived at the client’s home after they reported weak airflow in several rooms. Inspected the duct system and found multiple holes and separated seams in the supply ducting, causing significant air loss. Cleaned the affected sections, sealed the holes with mastic and reinforced tape, and repaired the loose connections. Tested airflow afterward and verified strong, consistent delivery throughout the home.
